- The Indian trucking industry has undergone significant transformation over time, marked by various distinctive characteristics. Given the diverse landscape, cargo types, road conditions, climate, driving behaviors, loading methods, vehicle types, and usage scenarios across the country, it becomes imperative to conduct pilot trials in multiple corridors encompassing this wide spectrum of variations.
- An extensive field research is necessary to identify the key freight corridors in India and to meticulously map out the variations across these corridors so that candidates for the pilots can be shortlisted.
- Field research of trucks is one of our projects where huge data, including the drive cycle, would be collected from the trucks running across the country. Data mining, analysis and reporting of these data would be done with the ultimate goal of facilitating the operation of pilot vehicles, specifically battery electric trucks, in various corridors.
